Monsanto’s Roundup is a widely known weed killer that’s sold around the world and is used by farmers, groundskeepers, landscapers, garden center employees and professional gardeners alike. Roundup contains active ingredients such as glyphosate which have been linked to causing non Hodgkin’s lymphoma. Recently, headlines have shown that more and more lawsuits are being filed against Monsanto Company by people who are claiming that the company’s Roundup products caused them to develop non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma.

In a 2018 case, a California jury found Monsanto Company to be responsible for Dawayne “Lee” Johnson’s illness, suffering and reduced life expectancy due to on the job exposure to the chemical glyphosate in Roundup products. Monsanto was said to have “failed to warn consumers of the cancer risks posed by its weed killers.” Despite this the company continues to claim that glyphosate doesn’t cause cancer and that there are decades of scientific studies that show the chemical to be safe for human use.

Monsanto Co. has been marketing Roundup as being a safe product for decades. When studies showed otherwise, they dismissed the evidence by refusing to add or improve warning labels and not taking responsibility. Eaves Law Firm believes that everybody has a right to justice and we make it our goal to attain this justice for those who are deserving. Our attorneys are not only personable, but also experienced in dealing with cases involving carcinogens.
