John Arthur Eaves, a Jackson, Mississippi native, is the Owner and Senior Managing partner of Eaves Law Firm. Upon completion of his Juris Doctor degree from University of Mississippi School of Law in 1990, John joined his father’s practice and for the last 34 years and has been practicing in Mississippi and across the world spanning dozens of countries on 6 different continents. John is driven by his faith, a genuine love for people and a restless passion that demands accountability and fights tirelessly for justice for all people. He has represented thousands of clients in various cases including high-stakes asbestos, pharmaceutical and environmental cases.

Eaves is the lead attorney in the ongoing Sanchez v U.S. case, which is fighting for compensation for the residents of Vieques, Puerto Rico, who continue to endure a public health crisis due to the environmental effects of decades of United States Naval live-fire military drills off their coast.

John has extensive experience in U.S. aviation litigation, including the 2022 RED Air Flight 203 crash in Miami, Florida; the 2001 American Airlines crash in Rockaway, New York. His international litigation includes the American Airlines crash in Cali, Colombia; the Swissair flight off the coast of Newfoundland; the Air France 442 crash near Bogotá, Colombia; numerous helicopter crashes in the Gulf of Mexico; and the gondola incident in Cavalese, Italy, involving the U.S. Military.

Eaves is also known for his work in defending victims of the 1998 U.S. embassy bombings in Kenya, and representing families injured in the Cavalese cable car tragedy in Italy.

Christopher Brady Eaves, a third-generation lawyer, inherits a legacy of justice from his father and grandfather, both seasoned advocates. Witnessing his family’s unwavering commitment to justice, Brady chose to follow the same path and has become a formidable force in the legal arena.

Trained in environmental law, Brady has expanded his expertise to encompass a wide array of topics, including advocating for victims of terrorism, battling against insurance companies, assisting non-profits, and championing civil rights.

Brady has argued for his clients in both federal and state courts, even presenting arguments to the Supreme Court. He is an active member of the Mississippi Bar and the American Association for Justice, and serves on the board of several non-profit organizations.

Sterling Eaves, a driven advocate that continues the Eaves' longstanding tradition of dedicated legal service. His passion for justice is matched by his commitment to his community.

After graduating from the University of Mississippi in 2018 with a Bachelor of Arts, Sterling and his wife, Lizzie, spent two years serving in campus ministry with CRU (formerly known as "Campus Crusade"). Seeing law as an avenue to deepen his impact, he pursued a law degree at the University of Mississippi and graduated in 2023.

Sterling honed his legal skills while clerking for the Honorable Rhesa Hawkins Barksdale, Circuit Judge of the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. He is passionate about serving clients with the same unwavering dedication that has been a hallmark of the Eaves family for generations.

Shana Fondren began her education at Millsaps College with a focus on classical history, intending to become a teacher. However, after being injured on the job while earning money for her education, she realized that everyone deserves a caring attorney to help them through life’s challenges. This led her to pursue a law degree at the University of Mississippi.

Since joining the Mississippi Bar in 2002, Shana has worked tirelessly to support her clients in their times of need. While her early career focused on employment litigation and personal injury, she has found her true passion in family law.

Shana is dedicated to educating her clients so they can make the best decisions for themselves and their families. From contested divorces and custody battles to estate planning and adoptions, Shana approaches each case with the same commitment and diligence.
